The kit consists of a receiver connected to the motorized mechanism and a transmitter connected to the vehicle via a pushbutton on the dashboard; the two communicate via encrypted radio frequency.
When the button on the dashboard is pressed, the transmitter—which is powered on at that moment—remotely controls the receiver’s output for 2 seconds, simulating a press of the manual switch to open the door or gate (up to 10 receivers can be controlled).
It is also possible to control another automatic device, as the receiver has two channels. And a single receiver can accept an unlimited number of transmitters!
Once the command has been transmitted, the transmitter switches to extended standby mode to minimize power consumption.
